Its like theres two main different types of underground rappers nowadays... I think some underground artists rep the underground becuz theyre proud of making the music they make, even though it may be considered different, weird, dark, etc... and theyve found their niche and embrace the struggle of it as well... and they respect all the other real underground artists that are in a similar position... and then theres the underground rappers that have failed at being mainstream and popular so many times that they think they can start repping the underground in hopes that they can find some sort of place to call home... they dont respect the artists who have busted their ass despite the odds against them, they just wanna hop on the Strange Music/FunkVolume/next successful independent labels bandwagon in hopes it will get them somewhere... wanna be famous ass mfs... stop using the underground as your new gimmick to try to get noticed...
