Its official. I will be the new Breastfeeding Peer Counselor with the WIC department at my local health department. Im so excited! For lacking a degree in the area, I feel like this is an amazing opportunity that will give me field experience and shine some light on whether or not I want to pursue this further with schooling in years to come. Im thrilled I will be in a position where my passion for and opinion on breastfeeding will be appreciated and received openly while helping and encouraging those who also want to breastfeed! :)
