Its official WE made a movie!!!!! I figured I would attach some really disturbing photos so everyone would make sure to read this! I survived a horrible breakout of hives due to stress and heat, a broken car windshield, 14-16 hour work days, bug bites, scrapes and bruises. We went through 4 directors and 4 RED cameras. I had people call me whom I never met before, telling me I could not make a movie. Other’s that told me I would fail! Making a film was not on my bucket list, and if someone would have told me 10 years ago I would be making a film, I would have laughed! However, on my bucket list was to become a CEO of my own company, and I succeeded in putting together a cast and crew that finally found their rhythm and completely understood the words, “COLLABRATE EFFORT & TEAMWORK”. They also understood that Perilous Productions does not run by ‘INDUSTRY STANDARDS” and that ‘LACK OF PRE-PREPRODUCTION” is a bad word on set! I want to thank the AMAZING CREW that understood my vision, and learned to put the CAST first. Also there was no such thing as I cant do that with this crew and I commend their positive attitude throughout! These kids worked 3-5 jobs during this production, and now make up the Perilous Production Staff for future films: Kristin Edwards, our Unit Production Manager, who kept me sane, and also worked as a Script Supervisor, PA, and an AC1. Dale DiMassi, who was our Gaffer, Grip, and ran Sound for part of the production as well. Jeff Brannon who ran Sound, Boom and was also DIT. Taylor Phillips, who came on as an AC1 and then got his first opportunity to run camera as Director of Photography. Cameron Pazol, who at only 17 years old came on as an AC2, Boom operator and Grip. Taylor Poyfair who was also a PA and Boom operator. Kaylen Phillips who was a PA, Script Supervisor and Boom Operator. Kelsey and Kat our PA’s and at times Boom operator’s and Script Supervisor’s. Our AMAZING makeup artist’s Stephanie Espinoza and Alexandria Cedillo who showed up on set last minute to help out. Jessica Studnick, our BTS photographer. Spencer Wetherall our Stunt Coordinator and the many others who helped out 1 or 2 days (too many to mention here). There are 3 people whom without their help and expertise this film would have made it even more difficult to complete: Scott McClannahan, our Director of Photography, Cinematographer, and Editor. Jon Firestone, for the rental of his RED Epic and support of our project. Shelly Cole who started out as our On-Set Acting Coach and then stepped in as Director. Her passion and commitment to our teens is insurmountable. Last, but not least to my three investors, Dan Elliot, who didn’t even blink twice when I first presented this project to him. Gina Canzonari for introducing me to Dave Berger, whose dream it was to make a movie one day and has become a respected and trusted Business Partner! And my loving and supportive husband Chris Harlan, who has stuck by my side every step of the way. He has always been my biggest fan. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
