Its official, we have Hartlyns MRI & Lumbar puncture scheduled for the day after Christmas checking in at 9 am. The nerves have just begun!!!! We went through all her medication lists, details for prepping for appointment, anesthesia details, surgery unit info, etc. Hartlyn is battling a little cold so we are having to do everything we can to flush it out by Friday or else this emergency appointment is cancelled. If she goes under anesthesia sick she will be at risk for it turning into Pneumonia. Hoping to get rid of this minor cold. I dont know how we are going to explain to her what we are doing Friday. Christmas is going to be a nervous wreck knowing the procedures we have ahead of us the following morning. We will need lots of prayers and support. Looking for sitters, subs for work, money for trips, and all that jazz. Plus, figuring out how to get everything lined up for another long day on Tuesday for Infusion and rheumatology clinical. Our biggest fear is Hartlyn being traumatized again to the point we start at square one with her cooperation with appointments. She was terrified of doctors and hospitals and we have finally hit some strid. I am so done with appointments and the struggle of this disease. I am just trying to keep my eye on the prize: Remission. #CUREJM
