Its our Friday Pet of the Week, Ace! Aces mom brought him in when she realized he was straining to urinate. An ultrasound revealed several stones in the bladder, and we were unable to pass a urinary catheter due to stones in the urethra as well. We were able to remove the stones during surgery the following day, and after a short recovery period Ace is back home with his family. Fortunately Aces mom caught the condition the first day it started, avoiding many of the complications that can normally come along with this. Ace is now doing great and his mom even sent us an awesome fruit basket!
