Its sad how many people dont remember my moms birthday us today but they remember so many others n make a big deal of it....... just sayin, another prime example of family. Anyway, today would be my beautiful moms birthday and I could not be more sad, I wish so much I could see n hold you. Its crazy thinking of how long you have been away. I love you so much mom.. I miss you more than I can possibly articulate through words. This song is a song to my mom, it has been for so long, it explains her struggle, what she went through, what I put her through, I always felt when she passed that she left me far behind, that she chose that life over me, this song shows how I felt having her leave me the way she did. I hated my mothers addiction and in return I treated her so poorly, I know she knew I loved her but her addiction took its toll on me and I really pushed her. When I seen candlebox in concert a few years ago they sat n talked to me about why they wrote this song and it was eerily close to how it made me feel about my mom... They signed my shirt and it said these lyrics along with rest in piece Debbie I love you mom so much.... untill we meet again please always know your in my heart n on my mind.
