Its sad to say the least when One of our own Wambui Ndiithi our deserved beautiful Miss Nyandarua 2014 says she has to sponsor herself for the ongoing Miss Kenya 2014..It says alot about how bad our talent and sport activities are currently neglected... 1.Firstly,She is in that competition in her capacity as Miss Nyandarua representing the County,She stands for the county,if she succeeds its the county that wins,if she looses-its our county that fails too.She is a marketing tool for the county...The county watchdog committee akina Chege Thiari tusaidieni hapa... 2.Its shameful that as a county,she has been left on her own..This makes me ask-Dont we have a county executive Secretary in charge of Sports and talent support? What is he/she doing in office- Earning a salary and doing nothing? Where is the county First lady to take charge of such activities?Where is Mama county Wanjiku Muhia to help our lady here? 3.What has the county done to nab,create and mother talents from our county? Its would be a pleasure to watch and support our own team playing in the Kenya premier league rather than support Ingwe/Kogallo/Sofapaka...But that will only come if we are willing to establish football academies and talent centres in our county-Why cant we have a NyandaWood to nurture our music/Film/Creative arts? Why cant we initiate a strong,timely and competitive County football league then have a team play at the Nationwide league then KPL... 4.To be gender sensitive since we also ought to celebrate the boy child-Why cant we also have a Mr County to look at matters boy child? It wouldnt be much to ask from the county... 5.Lets all support talent within us since not all of us can manage to get white collar jobs..Modelling/Music/Film/Sports can also be harnessed to create jobs... #Lets Help Kristal Wambui win the Miss Kenya 2014 by voting for her when time comes to vote...Lets be counted now and forever...
