Its seems having what I like to think is a good sense of humor is paying off a little. I was taking my garbage down to the dumpster at my apartment and when I turned around I nearly had a bout of the terror sh*ts because someone was right the hell behind me waiting to throw their garbage out as well. After quickly regaining my composure and extinguishing the instinctive urge to scream like a teenage girl at a One Direction concert, I managed to mutter some form of greeting in the deepest and manliest voice I could muster at that moment in an attempt to mask the sound of my heart hammering against my rib age. As it turns out this kid of about 17 and whom I realized was the same kid that served me my delicious cup of coffee every morning at McDonalds saw right through this and was barely able to conceal his laughter. Knowing that he knew hed startled me I decided to come clean and detail just how very close Id come to having to chuck my soiled underpants into the dumpster along with the bag Id just thrown in. After laughing hysterically he thanked me for the good laugh and offered me free coffee every morning that he works when I roll through on my way to work. 😄 ☕️
