Its so hard to figure out what to do to honor your childs birthday when they now live in Heaven. It doesnt feel right either way. You want to go back to the norm and celebrate like we did before..but the emptiness, the void is there no matter what. So, what did we do to honor our beloved Amy?. I burned her woodwick candle for most of the day. I could hear the crackle. I made one of her favorite dishes, baked pork chops with mushroom soup on the top. Boy, did I need that comfort food. We took a birthday balloon and flowers to the cemetery. It doesnt seem like enough. It never will seem like enough. I received many thinking and praying of you messages, which Im so thankful for. I enjoyed seeing the Birthday messages to Amy on Facebook. She would love them. As for signs ... The soft flowing snow this morning gave me the feeling of hugs from above, it left a blanket of sparkled snow on the ground that reminded me of Amys eyes. We all know that sparkle. The two Doves that were perched outside my window for several hours gave me a feeling of peace, the hearts in the clouds send Gods love, and finally as I let Evee out back just before 5 pm the two geese flew over in the sunset with the water tower and pink sky in the background always always gives me Hope. I didnt get pictures of everything (wished I had my phone camera for the geese). But, I thought I would share. Amys birthday gift to all of you is to never give up on your Faith and Hope especially if you have someone you love living in spirit. Happy Birthday Amy ~❤️
