Its so sad to see how scared people get when they feel like this false idea of control is slipping through their fingers. Theyre terrified that theyre almost facing the truth, that there really is no control, and that these are constructs were taught to obey because its too scary to question and face the alternative. They get so scared that they yell and cuss at people, and they defend coldblooded murder with crazy rationalizations, all to feel safe inside. And all of it is oppressing. Its oppressing to themselves and everybody around them. Theyre scared to be free because living with unlimited options feels overwhelming and makes you feel like your head will explode, so they learn a couple of rules as if theyre universe and follow these until the day they die, like theyre cloaked in a reassurance blanket. I do feel bad for how scared they are, and I would probably feel worse for them if they werent openly condoning murder, because unlike the victims they criticize, they are still alive and able to oppress themselves, an option that the dead dont have.
