Its so true we love our older girl and recently found out our days with her are running out she has been such a huge part of our family of course we are all already grieving from the news we will be losing her I can only imagine how life shattering it can be for a pet to be separated from all its loved ones all it knows SUDDENLY with no warning or understanding to go into an environment where sadly they are just nameless numbers in understaffed and underfunded shelters. God bless our shelter operators and volunteers for all the love and hard work they give. THANK YOU But the reality is these senior dogs do experience grief and depression and this mental and emotional stress can really weaken their immune system and if not brought into a loving family where they feel needed and a sense of purpose, dogs such as these have gone to the extreme of starving themselves to death. It isnt hard to imagine the immense grief confusion and even guilt these innocent loving creatures experience after such traumatic event. ALL THEY NEED IS LOVE, LOVE IS ALL WE NEED❤ PLEASE ADOPT THEY STILL HAVE SO MUCH LOVE TO SHARE AND OLDER DOGS ARE THE BEST LISTENERS ALWAYS Tried and true ❤
