Its statistically shown that African Americans and POC (people of color) are heavily based on heritage, values and traditions. So as 2014 draws near a conclusion Ive always been told you dont come into the new year without a clean house and a dollar in your pocket... So I spent the last 4.5 hours making sure the apartment was spotless, the laundry was done and the dishes were in the dishwasher! It was hard work but it was worth it because it bought me a sense of comfort and closeness with my Mom Mom! So in her memory and with her love i will go in 2015 with my head heald high and being the positive person that she raised our family to be. Love all my family and my true friends. I hope I get to see each and every one of you more this upcoming year and I hope I can reconnect and get closer with some of you too because youve definitely been missed.
