Its time for us to conduct one final auction for our Charity Drive this year, before we officially bring the curtains down. As noted previously, we have saved something really special for this auction, and boy, are you guys in for a treat! After highlighting mainly international artists previously, weve chosen to go local and approached Malaysias very own comic book artist, Alan Quah. Alan is no stranger in the comic book scene, having done work for DC and Legendary Comics, with the recent Godzilla: The Awakening comic being a highlight. His detailed renditions of comic book characters has not only garnered the attention of the Big Two in the industry, but also made him a massive fan favourite amongst the local community and beyond. We here at CW had an idea of auctioning off a connecting cover blank cover sketch, featuring 2 of the most iconic characters in comic book history; Batman and Superman. Not only did Alan create a diptych, he created a detailed Wraparound connecting covers masterpiece! Details of the auction are as follows: - Superman/Batman Wraparound Interlocking Blank Cover Sketches - Auction Duration: 12 Oct 2014 - 19 Oct 2014 (11.59pm - Malaysian time) Starting Bid: RM300 Minimum Bid Increment: RM25 We would like to emphasize again that 100% profit made from this auction will head directly to the charity home.
