Its with great sadness to announce that I have decided to leave Caskitt. I recently was given a promotional job opportunity that involved relocating my life out of California, and Ive accepted the position in Florida. This was a tough decision as I have lived in San Diego my entire life, and the last 13 months in Caskitt have been an incredible ride. Matt & Steffen are amazing dudes, and theyve made me a better musician and person. Yesterday was so emotionally painful to tell them as we worked our asses off together this last year. BUT, the band will go on without me. Ricky from Western Settings will fill in while they search for a new bass player.Everything is recorded too, so if youre interested, the tracks are there. Ive met the most incredible people that I can call family from being on tour to hanging after and during shows. Also, thank you Will and Ziggy for La Escalera Records, and allowing me to be a part of this incredible family. Hell, maybe once Im grounded in FL, I can help start the east coast La Escalera branch. Thank you friends, thank you family. Im off to start a new chapter in my life. I love you all.........applications for Caskitt can start now.
