Its with great sadness we announce one of our future World Racers, Anastasia Sloan of F Squad, who was about to head to Training Camp next week, was killed in a car accident Monday. While we grieve with her family, friends, and squad, we rejoice that she is with her Savior. Were encouraged by her own words from a blog post written this past fall: Yesterday I discovered that my route had changed. This wasnt the route I chose - how could it change? But God reminded me of his guidance - he has a plan that is so much greater than any of us could fathom. In this season of change, I remember one thing will always remain the same - the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the good news of Gods Grace. Acts 20:24 While Anastasias route has indeed changed, we trust in the love of Jesus together as our hope and comfort. Anastasias parents have requested to keep her support account open for anyone who wants to donate in memory of her.
