Its with terrible sadness that we recently read that Jemma Taylor Cutts lost her brave fight with cervical cancer. Its humbling and incredibly sad to see that as a community, Barnsley people rallied to support a young family and raised such a significant amount in a short space of time to help her try all she could to beat that bastard of a disease. We were planning on using proceeds from WSB6 to contribute to Jemmas Journey. However, considering the recent news & also being made aware of another Barnsley mans difficult situation as he fights an illness out in Thailand, weve made the decision that we will instead be using the money to help Craig Lindley get home and will be donating £400 today. We offer our apologies to anyone that bought a mag on the understanding that the cash would go to Jemma’s Journey however we’ll be happy to support any cause or charity that is created in Jemma’s memory in future.
