Its yet another overcast, drizzly, and dreary day out there, the sort that can drag ones spirits down. Fortunately my attention is turned to indoor things needing to be done, and there is joy in tasks completed. There is also joy in one of my favourite gloom-busters: the flowers at my kitchen window. (These photos were taken just a few minutes ago.) Flowers have always raised my energy and given me hope, as if, even on cloudy days, they emit the memory of the sunshine and light that helped bring them into being.
