It’s funny how life’s unique journeys have a way of opening up - TopicsExpress

It’s funny how life’s unique journeys have a way of opening up one’s eyes… As I look back at my journey, I can see that God’s hand was ultimately shaping not only my destiny but also my families. Each step… every decision and yes even the mistakes have shaped my DNA. The simple truth is we sometimes get so overwhelmed with life that we never really embrace the beauty within the journey. Lately I’ve been reflecting on my own journey… a journey that I’ve taken for granted in more ways that I care to admit. Throughout the years I have had the privilege of speaking into the lives of young leaders both in and out of the Body of Christ. Some of these amazing men and women are now influencing the new leaders of tomorrow throughout the world. But in reality here is my ultimate privilege… that even after more than twenty-five years of ministry my greatest honor by far has been to be the husband to my beautiful wife Sherry Tidwell and the father of my three beautiful daughters Amanda Rose, Jordan Tidwell, and Mariah Tidwell. Sherry has stood by my side through the good, the bad and yes the ugly throughout our marriage and each one of my amazing daughters have unquie talents that far exceed my own. Resently God has been convicting me big time! My eyes have been opened to not only celebrate the blessings that I have but also to embrace every aspect of lifes journey without worring about the outcome. I share this EYE~OPENER because Ive noticed that way too many people allow themselve to get sooooooo stinkn wrapped up within the cares of life, as I did for far too long. I allowed ISSUES to overwhelm me and cloud my judgment. But listen to what JESUS said about worring about the cares of this life... *Matthew 6:31-34 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. So with all that being said... I choose to trust JESUS throughout the journey!
