It’s interesting to read the pundits in magazine articles and newspaper editorials making their predictions about the year ahead. For some, 2015 is viewed as a “turbulent” year, citing the ongoing problems: Russia’s financial crisis; the cyberwar with North Korea; the West’s battle with the Islamic State (ISIS) – an ideological movement that crosses national boundaries; the US- Russia confrontation over Ukraine; the hacking of Sony which has been variously blamed on China, North Korea, and a disgruntled Sony employee; and, of course the tragedly of Ebola, the virus which continues to kill Africans, although it has been contained in the Western world.
