It’s obvious that this mayor has lost the trust of those brave - TopicsExpress

It’s obvious that this mayor has lost the trust of those brave men and woman in blue, and I seriously doubt whether he will ever regain that trust again…or the respect of those law abiding citizens that count on those brave men and woman to protect them. The fundamental duty of any chief executive whether it is a mayor, a governor or the president of the United States, is to protect those he’s sworn an oath to protect, this is “FUNDAMENTAL”, and of course those entrusted with that awesome responsibility…the cop on the beat, those men and woman that trade their own sense of wellbeing, there on safety, and at times their own lives. And when a chief executive, vilifies, demeans, and disrespects those that wear the uniform he no longer is worthy to hold the title of mayor, governor, or President…he risks not only the lives of those brave men and woman in blue, he risks the threat of losing the entire city to anarchy and lawlessness. What has transpired within the last several months in NYC, parallels exactly what took place in the 70’s…now as then NYC was a bastion of corruption, malfeasance and incompetence, where ideology rather then sound governance took priority at the expense of law and order, and within a few short years NYC became a crime riddled city, and actually dubbed by the “progressive legislators and mayor, as “unmanageable” thus attempting to absolve themselves, of what they themselves had created. Progressive like Mayor DeBlasio, live in a world of abstracts, they view the world not as it is, but rather how they would like it to be...and of course if you live within the world of academia where theory and facts are blurred to suite whatever ideology you prefer promoting whatever agenda you like, however when you are a chief executive of a city, a state, or a country…abstract theories and personal agendas no longer apply...and when you attempt to rewrite history or ignore facts to further a political agenda… you end up with a city, a state or a country in crises.
