It’s the most heart breaking when we see those so close to seeing the truth but fail and fall short. You can fight with someone to see wrong and right. They see you fighting for what you believe in and think you are fighting to be right at their expense but in truth your fighting your own fears for them and you’re not wrong, that they are broken in ways they can’t stand see about them self. They feed the monster inside them and all they do is grow weaker with each passing year. The hole inside them only fills up with what they hold as truth because all they can hold on is how wrong you and everyone else is and think being wrong is the worst thing in the world. Being wrong can be bad but being right about the worst in one another is worse. When you’re wrong it can hurt but you can learn from it and change, when it’s inside someone else all you can do is hope they will face it someday. So many want to run away from the blame and responsibility of being wrong, yet how many want to die before what they fear most comes to pass. What happens when you’re more afraid of being right than wrong and all they think they see is you caring more proving them wrong than anything else. When they run from the problems inside them they use anything they can to push the responsibility away and they kill you with what you love most, your hope for them and you. The worst thing in the world is failing to save those we love because we couldnt be smart or strong enough for them. What I am most afraid of isnt being wrong, it’s what if I am right and I can’t do anything about it and it’s already too late.
