Ive actually been working on two albums of personal songs. One, which will be my first solo album, has mostly brand new songs (just a couple from maybe 4-5 years back). The other one which might end up being my second solo album I have been working on ever since the time I played with Kevin Gilbert and Thud. It has stories of LA and trekking it cross country all the way to more modern retrospectives. One song intended for that album, Not Coming Down, ended up being re-worked with SOC. The rest of that album has only been heard by the musicians who played on it over the years. Anyway, Im going to finish both. The songwriting itself on the earlier one is very close to finished. I wrote a lot of that one on guitar and the newest album I wrote mostly on piano. The newest one keeps getting closer to being finished and the 11 tracks have been decided this past weekend as well as the title of the album, first single etc. Between the two albums and Dimensionaut I think itll represent a good instant variety of what Im about on terms of writing and production as opposed to just keyboard playing. Thats only one part of who I am.
