Ive always been the one to stand up for cops. They put their life on the line for our safety, and its bad that one cop can ruin our opinion for all of them. Last night, around 8 I was driving through downtown Senoia, like I do every single day. I had a sheriff behind me so I made sure I went the speed limit & made sure I sat at the 1000 stop signs for a little longer than I should. The very last stop sign, I sat at and a lady was standing in the median to cross the street with a little boy, so I shooed them with my hand to go ahead and walk. So I sat at the stop sign for over 30 seconds, and then go. Blue lights are right behind me so I pull over thinking what could I have possibly done wrong. This jackass comes up to my passenger side with his flash flight, mind you its still light outside. He asked why I didnt stop and I said I did, there was a lady with a little boy walk in front of me. He looks down and says how many drinks have you had tonight & are you even of age? I said excuse me? Im still stuck on the fact I dont know what youre talking about. His response is I can continue to get an attitude and question his authority and he can write me a ticket and send me on my way. I shake my head and get my ID and tell him I am of age and no I havent drank. He asks me if Im ready to tell the truth... Of course gives me a ticket that I will not pay until I see a video of me not stopping. But why pull someone over when one, I didnt do anythin wrong, and two harass the hell out of me? Shining his flashlight in my face to check out my pupils and then in my car and tells me messy car, huh? Yeah, its messy cause I gotta hide all those beer cans I throw back while Im driving đespecially for the fact I dont drink, and when I do once every few months, its one or two drinks. Absolutely ridiculous.
