Ive been away from my Facebook page for a few months, mostly for business reasons. From time to time Ive expressed my opinion on pretty much everything from politics to music, and its come back to bite me in the butt a few times when Im doing business with a handful of investors who do their due diligence and discover I dont share some of their values. The thing Ive discovered in those past few months is that FB is not only pretty much useless in our lives, but it adds to negative discourse. Actually, its toxic. Ive literally felt healthier in a time of great anxiety with business dealings and of course the launching of TMSN. I used to sit in my dads small office in Fullerton and watch one person after another come in with their problems big and small that needed his touch. In all those years I never once heard him share his politics or ask anyone about theirs. He once said its not of my god damn business (classic john sr. speak). He was right. Ill be up here for another day or two (max) and then deactivate again until i need it to reach out to someone or to access an app/web page. I like my Facebookless life. Its like going gluten free (i dont really know how that feels.. im pretty sure i like gluten)
