Ive been doing some research on this common core math crap, and I have come to the conclusion that the new math sucks big time. Why the hell would anyone in their right mind want to make simple math harder? The old math worked just fine. Is it a conspiracy to make it more difficult to replace educators? I doubt it, but I dont see a logical explanation for it. I used to think math was cool. I even liked algebra once I figured it out, and it was definitely helpful when I took Physics. The reason people give up on math is others are always trying to do something to make shit harder. If I were writing a program I wouldnt want to write 5 lines of code to do something when one line of code would end with the same results. In short, you asinine people that think you are so smart, stop trying to make it harder for everyone else to prove you are smarter. It only makes you look stupid to the people it really matters to. In the words of Jimmy Buffet Math Sucks at least the NEW MATH does.
