Ive been fascinated by the works of Vivian Maier, the nanny that not long ago was discovered as an astounding street photographer after her death. She took thousands of rolls of film that she never developed and never shared with anyone. Its quite a story as to how her images were found and the person who found them has processed and displayed some of them. I love them! I love the black and white, I love the film look and love the perspective she captured. Anyway, it got me thinking about whether my old film camera would still work. So I pulled it out of the back of the closet, bought a new battery, and ordered some B&W film. I had no idea if it would still work, but the shutter sounded strong after I replaced the battery and I gave it a shot. Here are a few of the first images I took with film! Now that I know my camera works, Im excited to see what else I can create!
