Ive been in and out of this group over the years. The big issue is how mega-threads like Five Guys, currently, or Roxys takes over. Its a wonderment. Someone just mentioned that he was leaving the group because these very things were just noise on his timeline. Does anyone else feel the same? I join these groups because I want to post reviews of restaurants that are: new, or good, or revised because they need another review. I just want people to know about my food scene. Now, re: Five Guys . . . it might be too far for me to drive; it might me that its a chain, and I shy away from it; but I cant see how it warrants over 75 (and counting) posts. Say Im wrong, and thats okay. Ill leave the group. However, I can contribute with a lot of reviews. We go out to eat a lot. I cook a lot at home, and Im pretty good at it, so I know if somethings good or not. Im just asking . . . is a new hamburger place worth over 75 posts? Do you want your notifications to ping each time someone posts? If not, Ill take the hint.
