Ive been in denial the past few days about our PCS news (where we will be moving for our next assignment this Spring). Denis and I were both shocked and disappointed. We heard that his sponsor for AFIT was at Hill, AFB which meant that he had a really great chance of ending up there after he graduates, but apparently his sponsor changed somewhere along the road. So now we are going to Kirtland, NM...which is in Albuquerque (I guess I need to learn how to spell that w/o having to look it up). Positives are it is basically smack dab in the middle of both our families, which is wonderful. And we will finally be out west again, able to drive to visit family. But Im still so sad. Denis and I have had some hard struggles the past few years and it would have been incredibly wonderful to be closer to family and be able to have dinner with them whenever we wanted...I was so looking forward to the support. Sorry this is so long...right now I really dont want to hear all the GREAT and WONDERFUL things about New Mexico, maybe in a month Ill be ready for that...but Im not right now. SO please save those comments for a later date, I would really appreciate it :)
