Ive been noticing lately similar frustrations with acrylic nails...the main frustrations is lifting and those treacherous little annoying lines you sometimes see after a fill or two. (Everyones nails and skin is different and not all nail types take acrylic the same and we also have to look at what we are using our hands and nails for, or putting them in for that matter) :) No one likes to get a beautiful set of pink and whites and a week later see the tacky signs of lifting, or after getting a fill seeing those lines ...however I must give everyone the friendly reminder that anything that is artificial ( ie. Hair extensions, acrylic nails, perms, and hair color) takes maintenance and sometimes the maintenance comes with flaws...like small fill lines that may not completely blend, lifting on stress points that happen as we bump those acrylic tips on hard surfaces, small imperfections or dents from perm rods, or even highlights that may not match up completely in a certain spot...These things unfortunately happen, however not on purpose, but we have to remember we (stylists/nail techs) are human and if it isnt ours and we are trying to achieve something we werent blessed with from birth its not going to be completely flawless....We beauty professionals perfect our skills to make sure to give you an amazing experience and the best quality of product...which is why you have sought out and chosen your own special stylist who knows you and your preferences! So next time youre worried that youre artificial additions arent holding up to their end of the hype, remember even though they are an extension of your natural beauty everything fake is going to need maintaining and may not always look perfect at all times...but it sure makes us feel better about ourselves and thats what makes my heart happy.....seeing my clients feeling beautiful as I try my hardest to strive to perfect your minor imperfections!! :) #staybeautifulclatsopcounty #makeyourselfathome
