Ive been playing WoW since 2004. I was in 4th grade at the time. My Dad used to keep me home from school when I was having a bad day just so we could play WoW together. We had two bulky white Dell monitors set up side by side and Id use a TV tray for a keyboard stand. I remember the day I leveled up to 10 on my night elf hunter and I could tame any beast I wanted...I remember the frustration of running out of arrows mid quest...buying and collecting food for my pet so they could be fit for battle...My Dad rolled a human pally. Hed stand back and make sure I didnt die. Now that Im older WoW isnt about having the highest dps or having the best gear...it has and always will be about having fun. Now Im able to recreate those memories with my little sister who is 10 years younger than I am. It may sound silly but Ill always have that special connection with WoW no matter how much it changes...though it will never be what it used to be with my Dad. The end.
