Ive been pondering the GREAT I AM since last Sundays worship service... In His introduction to Moses, the God of the Universe declares His name... I AM..! I AM sent Moses to stand before the god of Egypt (Pharaoh) and speak these words Let My people go... Moses is a type and shadow of the Messiah yet to come. In Isaiah we read, ...Ive been anointed to set at liberty the captive... In Luke, we read Jesus declaring these words in the assembly confirming, today this has been fulfilled in your hearing. JESUS... OUR MESSIAH. I find myself in need of I AM... the One who IS... and there is no other beside Him. The One who WILLS... I will be with you... I will never leave you or forsake you. JESUS... He declared these things: I AM the Way, the Truth & the Life... If you want to know God you must first meet JESUS. I AM the Resurrection and the Life... are there parts of your that are dead, numb, broken seemingly beyond repair... JESUS is the only One who can call to life what is dead. I AM the Light of the World... are you confused, does your world seem dark, hopeless... JESUS is the lamp for your feet and the light for your path. I AM the Good Shepherd... are you tired, worn... has life seemed an up hill climb with no relief in sight... JESUS leads to green pastures and makes me to rest beside still waters. I AM the Bread of Life... are you HUNGRY for truth, do you need answers for your soul... JESUS will fill your longing. Call on the I AM... and He WILL... respond. JESUS!
