Ive been reading Rolf Hochhuth, Der Stellvertreter. I have not got very far. The language of the Nuntius on the first page itself is so despicable. The work by Klaus Theweleit I had read many years ago comes back to mind. Officialese is so horrendous, whether of churches, the UN, corporations, academic jargon, politicians, and it resulted in the saddest of sad murder of millions of Jews in gas chambers with the active participation of the Catholic Church; one can really barely write it without feeling such absolute horror at the callousness of the perpetrators and those who kept watching the machine take hold, and cooperated in order to preserve their own fiefdoms, and now all over the world there are these governments murdering their own people too, the person is objectified and made into an object of hate. And women being raped in so many places, such chaos has been unleashed, and the point is a certain total apathy and vacuous gullibility has taken hold of the entire society in the EUUSAAngloSaxon++Empire, the threshold at which a person will resist evil seems so high the women and men simply never resist, bar very very few, but not enough to overthrow the system faster than it is overthrowing itself, which is not fast enough.
