Ive been really enjoying this group! Im hoping someone can help me out with ideas. I live in a coastal southern California city, in a crowded neighborhood on a bluff. My next door neighbors land is 3-4 feet higher than ours and she tends to over water to the point where not only our yard is flooded, but so is our garage (she is aware, we have a restraining order against her, city comes out to shut her water off but she gets it turned back on, etc etc lots of drama) So at this point, Ive just got to come to terms that I either have to move or learn to live with it. That said, my orange trees that are closest to her property line are dying from over watering. Are there any CA native plants that grow fast, love water, full sun, clay soil and provide a good privacy screen? Also... cant be toxic. I havent been successful in my search. Any help greatly appreciated!
