Ive been saying since 1999 that LGBT baby-making (as opposed to adoption) is selfish and cruel. Heres Exhibit A. A lesbian couple treated having a baby like buying an accessory, and was not only disappointed when it didnt come in the shade they wanted - they sued. Its selfish (yes, Tom, selfish) because what should have been a loving act about bringing a new person into the world became about me-me-me and having a tantrum when they didnt get precisely the baby that fulfilled their fantasies. And its cruel because not only are they saying to that little girl that she will never have a father because her Mommies dont think she needs one, but she will grow up and Google herself and discover that her parents are disappointed with the color of her skin.
