Ive been seeing a lot of stuff about accountability partners lately. I think theyre nothing more than a crutch (my opinion). Ive never seen it work to where at some point you become friends and 20 mins to an hour gets wasted on so how was your day, kids good? Youll never guess what so and so did, etc etc. They turn into exactly what they were meant to block......time wasting. Truth is (my opinion again), if you need an accountability partner, youre just not motivated enough and just dont want it bad enough. You like the idea of it, but not enough to self motivate. Until you want it enough that you self motivate, no accountability partner, magic eight ball, prayer, voodoo doll or anything else is going to make it happen. It all starts and stops with the one you see in the mirror.
