Ive been seeing the newest FB feature that many have been participating in, Its been a great year... and I just cant bring myself to do it. You see, for me its not been a great year. In fact its been a rather treacherous year. So many things have broken or gone wrong that i cant begin to list them all. Now before you begin to think wrongly let me clarify my statement: Its been a terribly horrid year, but My God has been so very GREAT to me this year! He has kept everything that concerns me in His hand. He has held me up when I couldnt stand. He has carried me through many storms. He has never forsaken me even when the trouble was of my own making. God has been so very great in my life this year. I know that Im not alone...there are so many others that have struggled throughout the year as well, so I will not wish you all a Happy New Year, but a new year filled with hope and blessing. A year that is orchestrated and directed by God. A year of change and rebirth. A year of growth and understanding. A year filled to overflowing with joy and peace no matter what transpires. I encourage each to take time to notice the little things, to slow down and enjoy the insignificant. Above all to place everything within the capable hands of the Lord.
