Ive been there. I spent 15 years in the car business. At times it was very exciting. I always did my best to help people not hurt them. I broke in to the business in the mid 80s. I would say i learned the craft of that business from some very seasoned salesmen. Some of whom went back to the 1950s in that business. I worked from San Francisco to Walnut Creek to Petaluma and everywhere in between. i suppose i have some funny stories. And some unbelievable ones too. I spent quite a few years in management. And then as a salesman the second half of my career. I think my favorite year was at Shellworth Chevrolet, here in Vacaville. Scott Povey, and Scott McDonald, were great guys to work for. Not that that would stop me from quitting. LOL, I quit everybody back then. But I had a lot of fun selling Chevrolets. They are my favorite cars to this day. Just to brag a little, I had less minis than anybody I know! They called me Tayo, short for Mateo. LOL
