Ive been told Im out of control with my ornament collection and as you look at these piles that have taken me two hours to unwrap you would probably agree- that being said every one of them hold special memories for me of special people , places and special times in my life, so every year I continue to purchase when I see one that sparks a memory for me. The first picture- everything on the trays waiting to be hung The second picture- the birds that were my dads, the slot machine that reminds me of my mom, the pierogi for my Slavic heritage- the ribbon candy for my grandmother who always bought it for me the fortune cookie for our name and the firefighter for my brother The third picture the sewing machine is for my dear friend Doris and the chickens for my bestie Christie-they left us much too soon and I still miss them every day. The flower vase for Vic the crab for the Tom and Maria and the wine for Ron and Cathy. As I find something that reminds me of you I will add it to my collection . The fourth picture is the year my first grand child was born, our fur baby Modi my love of dragonflies and the ocean. And finally the last picture great trips - tinker bell for our fun times in Disneyland, Mexico, Hawaii , cruising and swimming with the stingrays. I know this is long and I could go on and on , today all these memories will go on the tree and I will think fondly of all the good things in my life
