Ive been waiting years and years to get Toms autograph. We were on the front row, thanks to Jts generous donation to Tazzy Fund! Here was my chance! We were on Mikes side, but good ol Ben Marcolin was front and center with his vinyl copy of Hypnotic Eye. And he was getting friendly with the security guy. I knew Ben was gonna get his signed, but I had little hope, cus Tom rarely signs one record, let alone two. As the band broke into American Dream Plan B, I noticed someone a few rows back asking for Tom to please sign their album. I held mine up, just so Tom could see it, but not like waiving it around and going crazy with it. He actually looked over at me and gave this very slight little nod as if to say, I see ya. I waited till after the encore and beelined for center stage. Bens album was already up there getting signed. My hopes were dashed, but I had to try anyway! I held out my album and asked, One more please, Tom, please sign one more! Again and again I asked, One more please, Tom! And then, like an angel appearing out of the light, Ron Blair reacheth out his hand to me!! I stretched out even further to hand Ron the record! The next thing I know, my record is in Rons hand and he is taking it over to Tom!!! THANK YOU RON!!! THANK YOU RON!! I yell!! Tom looks at it like, Oh, one more? Okay. and he starts signing it!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! THANK YOU TOM!!!! THANK YOU TOM!!! I yell as loud as I can!! And then Ron takes it and hands it back to me! THANK YOU RON!!! THANK YOU RON!!! Dream come true! True story!! :D
