Ive been watching a few old tapes with Emma, tonight. And the memories from over a decade came flooding back as I watched high school memories and more. Glimpses of faces long gone and other faces I still see to this day. Familiar but... different. I caught a glimpse of Vaunder, who looks like an entirely different person. And my God how Phil Conway has changed from the short kid with a squeaky voice! Rebecca had long hair. Daniel watched me nearly drown in his pool (though Im glad his sense of humor did NOT change). David when he always had glasses (all the time instead of just some of the time), Sierra in Business Law commenting about how i FINALLY had facial hair. Even quick glimpses of Theron scattered throughout. There was Katrina Sieminski and her school spirit. There was Carl Collier with his jokes and glimpses of Jason Pawloski also having some fun. And, of course, there was Kari giggling in World History (and U.S. History) flashing her Edgar Allan Poe book. So many memories. Faces I barely remember, others that have morphed into fine young men and women. Old friends such as Chris and Tamara who Ive seen so much I didnt realize just HOW much theyd changed. Old friends like Jolinda and Melissa who I havent seen in years and some who havent changed at all like Michael Skinner. And there were fond memories of Sam, Chaz, Krystal and my cousin Kiah. They were all there. Justen was there too, cracking wise and poking fun (the way an older brother should). I saw tapes of Steven and Michael Duckett, No one stole the show quite like Sam, though... guy was funny as hell. They were wonderful memories. The majority of which took place between 2001 and 2005. Three of my homecoming assemblies are filmed (in their entirety, mind you). Yes, there are a lot of tags. And a lot of you I didnt tag. The point is, these memories were fun and I was glad to watch them.
