Ive decided Im going to erase Windows 8 off my newly bought laptop and not backup Windows 8. Im finding Windows 8 to be useless and incredibly frustrating. For one, the Windows Store just keeps crashing when I try to use tiles through it. I first discovered this when I initially tried to update to Windows 8.1. NONE of the store tiles worked. ZERO. You tap them and they do nothing at all. I tried to use the version of Internet Explorer that came pre-installed on the machine to lookup a solution to this problem and guess what? It itself keeps crashing every single time I start it and hangs on the MSN homepage! This is on a first initial start with no additions! I actually had to side-load Firefox from my thumb drive so that I could download and re-install Internet Explorer to get it working! And this is all on a fresh install with nothing added to my PC. This is completely unacceptable. I dont know how this ever passed quality control! Someone should go find Steve Ballmer and put a damn boot to his face for this crap! I am wiping the entire system clean and dual-installing copies of Windows 7 and Linux Mint on this machine. As far Im concerned, Windows 8 is malware for my PC.
