Ive developed this theory that our brains act as nodes for our consciousness. Lately Ive been researching information about the brain and mental disorders such as Autism as well as physical injury to the brain. In autistic patients there appears to be a normal level of intelligence although communication is generally not developed correctly. As with non-autistic beings, autistic beings have different ways of expressing intelligence. Animals too are capable of indirect communication. In a patient who has severe brain damage, but no brain activity, there is no communication direct or indirect to suggest that there is a responsive intelligence. When the patient has brain activity, there are generally attempts at communication regardless of how basic the response is. This has led me to believe based only on anecdotal evidence (I believe thats what this is anyway) that our consciousness is the true intelligence. I do not know anything about it or what it consists of, although I believe it is essentially just a magnetic/electric field that when added to a computer that receives this energy/signal as input (such as our brain), it allows us to interact with our host. For example, I believe that because my consciousness, my self, wanted to express this with you all, I sent commands in the form of electrical current to my brain which then commanded my hands to communicate for me. My conscious is the program, the brain is the computer, and our physical body is the display.
