Ive experienced some rejection lately from people that used to be - TopicsExpress

Ive experienced some rejection lately from people that used to be my friends. Some has been vocal and some silent but basically they dont agree with the path I am walking. When you follow the plan that takes you down the road less traveled, not everyone will go with you and some people wont want you to change but I heard this morning these words, If you are never willing to take a risk, you will never mature spiritually. Joyce Meyer was speaking to me this morning. It isnt always popular when your life takes a different turn but we have but one person to please and that is God. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 says, But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the glad tidings of the gospel so we speak not to please men but to please God, Who tests our hearts. I have many many more people who are excited about the mission and they have joined me in my adventure with God to help heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds. What God has put together in Isaiah 30:18 Ministries is more than amazing. Every day I marvel at what He has done and I am more and more dependent upon Him as what He the mission is way bigger than one person. I dont chase money anymore. I dont worry about a ranking or hitting a number. I dont fret over who likes me or doesnt. I dont make decisions based on who will approve. I dont seek to please people. I put myself at risk to look foolish. I choose to live in the risk zone where I have to trust God or it will never work. I choose to risk rejection by listening to the voice of my Father God. I choose to give up to go up! I can say that I have done nothing hasty. I have taken the time needed to hear His voice clearly. I have waited upon the Lord. He has wooed me and won me! I am totally and completely His! I may never be the popular girl that goes with the crowd but I will be the girl who does what God is asking of her, even if I give up some things that I like and prefer. I trust God to take care of me! I love my God chasing, broken people-loving, radically in love with Jesus friends who have linked arms with me and said, Lets go do this thing! There is NOTHING like this life. I see Him provide in miraculous ways every day. He has surrounded me with the love of so many people that I didnt even know one year ago. He has given me a family here in Arkansas where I had no family. He has opened rivers for me on bare heights, He has made a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has made a way where there seemed to be no way. He is my King of King! My Lord of Lords! I am in AWE OF HIM! 5 years ago I found several key scripture and highlighted them. I knew my life was about to change radically. I just didnt know how it would all unfold. Isaiah 42:16, I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness in to light before them and make uneven places in to a plain. These things I have determined to do for them and I will not leave them forsaken. And just after Isaiah 30:18 comes Isaiah 30:21, And your ears will hear a word behind you saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left. It goes on to talk about giving up some things that God asks you to give up so that God can give you something greater. He is leading this blind girl down a path that is unfamiliar but I have total confidence that He will light that path with each step that I take. Fear and faith cannot work in tandem. You will either live in fear or you will live a life of faith for faith requires working in the dark. Faith requires not being sure of how it will unfold but putting yourself out there anyway. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen! If you follow the path that God is opening in your life, you may lose a few folks along the way, you may be criticized, rejected or even condemned by others who are uncomfortable with your decisions or who dont understand. Just remember that we live our lives with an audience of One. His name is Jesus and He came to heal the brokenhearted and to bind up their wounds. He came for the despised and those rejected by society, the broken ones who the world said were hopeless, those who didnt fit with the religious people of the day. He still does and He has sent us to be his hands, his feet, his arms of love wrapped around them saying, God wants to make all things new in your life. He has a Jeremiah 29:11 plan for you. You are NOT hopeless or helpless! You are not pitiful but powerful through Him who loves you and sent us to tell you. You are beautiful in His sight. He loves your scars. He loves your broken heart. He loves YOU. Come and let Jesus heal your soul. Come with us for He has healed our hearts! Thank you, Lord for choosing this wild and whacky Jesus girl to help fulfill this mission!
