Ive got a question. A few months ago mom went to the hospital for an outpatient procedure. It may have taken all of fifteen minutes and she just got the bill saying it cost $38,518. While she has good insurance and is only responsible for $200 how is this even possible? I understand making a profit but isnt this a little ridiculous? She was there in the hospital for a total of two hours including the waiting room and recovery
