Ive had a difficult time relinquishing what I have enjoyed for - TopicsExpress

Ive had a difficult time relinquishing what I have enjoyed for more than half my life and surrendering the opportunity to share with students what I have have gained in personal and professional knowledge about our very special profession. Sadly, I feel the time has come for me to fully retire. I appreciate very much the opportunity that has been afforded me to continue to teach and I will miss it very much. My full time teaching in the School of Pharmacy at Ole Miss began in 1970. Additionally, I practiced in community pharmacy and several hospital pharmacies for many years on a part time basis which I felt was important to my classroom instruction. Ive had an idyllic career in Pharmacy and Ive loved working with students who have taught me a great deal. I also owe a huge debt of gratitude to the faculty that I have worked with through the years which are too numerous to mention by name. Finally, my wife, Bonnie, and sons, Dennis and Jeff, have always been very supportive and encouraging during my career and I am deeply thankful for my family. Best wishes to all. Tom
