Ive had a great day and am getting closer to meeting the man that introduced me / forced me to drink my first ever pint of Jail Ale! I caught up with Tom Chesbrough, a top man and great musician taboot with whom I shared many great nights drinking jail and listening to great music back in 2001-2002! I then managed to get in contact with the landlord and landlady of the Walkhampton Inn from that night in October 2001, so glad to have spoken and chatted to Jan Sawyer and Roger Sawyer! Take a bow guys without you this group may not have happened!!! and I have the best lead ever on who that man was who was there that night at the end of October when the Walkhampton cricket club had their end of season awards night and when I ordered 6x told me that I must drink jail ale! He was about 5ft 6 with a strong accent and I believe I might have a name. I know this is self-indulgent but I am so looking forward to meeting that man again, I am not sure that the banned lady is!!! :)
