Ive had a wonderful week as the next book goes to print thanks to Shelley Tonkin and the support of a great Western Australian company bringing back all the best memories of growing up as folks read it on Christmas Day with their families explaining how it used to be when Mum and Dad grew up, some good sized fencing jobs have come in thanks to past clients and friends to help pay the bills, the kids Summer sports began this morning which I cherish watching them enjoy themselves outdoors, Lost Perth will be on FM radio very soon to bring back the music we grew up with and so many people stopping me here there and everywhere to say hi and thank you for Lost Perth and what it means to them along with your online messages and emails of thanks. I am Warren Duffy born in South Perth in 1964 and I have had a fascination of home for 17 years or more and ever since I could share photos online I have. I love my kids dearly as I have no direct relatives cept Mum, 3 of the best mates you could wish for and meeting new friends every day thanks to Lost Perth, I love taking photos as much as I love sharing them, there isnt much better than listening to the older folks in the community and lending a hand to those less fortunate, I enjoy a good laugh and telling really bad jokes. I am shy which is maybe why I prefer to share on web pages rather than being a stand up comedian because as many have seen lately, I am like a caged lion when speaking in public. Everybody wonders where I get the time to run Lost Perth but what will surprise you is several other pages I have on the list attached which are all run by me , some created before Lost Perth was founded May 13th 2013 and some after with no admins except SAS founded by Helen Green who graduates as a nurse this week ,congrats mate xox. If you have an interest in any of my pages please jump aboard and lets have some fun together. Thank you sincerely for accepting me to share your photos , films and stories sending them in when you can, I cannot do any of this without your support and the bigger the pages get, the more material we attract to enrich our lives and brighten our days as sometimes the news isnt the best each night. During the ups and downs of the past 10 months, I thank my family and friends for your love and support keeping my chin up and after yesterdays meeting, I am so uplifted by the faith in me in the community I feel 18 again.
