Ive had my procedure. The precancerous cells have been removed and biopsy results showed that I was on the verge of full blown cervical cancer. When I first found out I had precancerous cells I suppose I didnt take it seriously because it wasnt cancer, in a matter of 8 months it jumped up 2 stages and my ob/gyn informed me today that had I waited much longer it may have been full blown. After she told me that, it occurred to me that I wasnt taking it seriously until it was ALMOST too late. This made me realize I should at least send a message to all the ladies out there: Dont skip out on ur annual exams, had I missed mine this year, they wouldnt have found precancerous cervical cancer cells. When u get your results and if they find anything, no matter how minor it may seem, take it seriously now before it gets too far gone. Thanks to my Doctor, Dr. Sang and to my doctors trusty assistant (aka my sweet sister-in-law), Anne Husk, for taking care of ridding me of those nasty little cells. I send my love :) Thank you Joseph Romero for letting me squeeze the bejeezus outta your hand and wiping away my tears. I love you.
