Ive had recurring dreams where Im looking into a mirror and see my ex husbands face staring back at me. Often times he is screaming without sound..sometimes he looks very sad. The feeling is always negative. I dont know how to forgive myself or him for what has happened between us in the past. The devil has repeatedly attempted to use painful memories to fuel my shame. I am learning to love the person in the mirror as myself. It has been a long road to healing but God is the best physician working on my heart from the inside. These dreams often haunt me, but I am learning to see the value in them; hopeful that in time I will no longer feel the pain associated with the man I once loved with all the broken pieces of my tender heart.
