Ive had some wonderful responses to our call for pies. I have almost 20 pies for sure being made and many other offers out there. Ive also had a couple monetary donations and I will use those to purchase supplies to give out to our other volunteer bakers. My goal now is 40-50 pies. If you are planning to bake or donate supplies please let me know via message what and how many so I can plan accordingly. Our current plan is to load up the Volvo Wednesday 11/27 morning and head to East Peoria and Washington. There are a number of places where volunteers have been gathering to sort donations, distribute food and supplies, etc. Were in contact with some of these groups and will go wherever we are needed. The pies will first be distributed to anyone affected directly by the storm. Then we plan to find first responders and give them pies. Anything left we will serve to volunteers for lunch etc.
